Gabinete ABC works with professional translators of various nationalities, which means that we can supply translations for most languages of the European Union. Besides these languages, we can also ensure translations into and from some Slavic and Asian languages, among others. Our translators specialise in the following areas:

Legal translations: we translate judgements, official summonses, jurisprudence, witness statements, official enquiries, warrants, wills, all types of contracts, etc. We also transcribe audio versions of hearings (we observe the legally-accepted transcription norms and we use the most up-to-date computer software and audio equipment).
Technical translations: we translate any type of technical document such as pharmaceutical package leaflets, fact sheets, industrial product manuals, restaurant menus, hotel directories, etc.

Our work method

All translations – without exception – are proofread for spelling, grammar, terminology, etc. Whenever justified, and depending on the degree of technicality, the translation is also given to a specialist in the field for technical proofreading.

Whenever requested, our translations can be notarised and/or certified by the appropriate authority.

We use a computer tool designed from scratch for this Office – ABC Data Management – which allows us to manage the archive of many years work, so as to minimises deadlines, eliminate duplicate tasks and ensure a uniform typeface is used for each document. Naturally Gabinete ABC also uses Translation Memory and other computer-assisted tools for translating, in a constant concern to seek uniform terminology.

Professional translators

Our translators are very carefully selected. We always give priority to professionals who translate as a means of making a living and translators who, while they have parallel activities, have proved their ability to translate to us. Proofreading is carried out by native speaking Translators for their direct contact with the culture of the target language.
